Common questions about IP addresses used by bots

Why do bots submit forms?

Bots fill out web forms to plant links, spread scam messages, pollute lead pipelines, and probe sites for weaknesses. One operator can point a single script at thousands of sites at once, so even a small website's forms see automated traffic daily.

Can I just block these IP addresses?

You can, but it rarely holds. Spam operations rotate through residential proxies and cloud servers, so the list above changes constantly — a static IP blocklist starts decaying the day you write it. Behavioral analysis catches a brand-new IP the first time it acts like a bot, which is why SpamKill never relies on IP reputation alone.

Why am I getting spam form submissions from so many different IPs?

Modern spam campaigns route traffic through residential proxy networks — pools of ordinary home connections rented by the request. Each submission arrives from a different, clean-looking address, which is exactly the pattern this blacklist captures over time.
