What's the difference between Agency Account and Referral Partner?
Agency Account: you manage client licenses from a centralized dashboard, get volume discounts (30-50% off), one invoice, and client-ready reporting. Requires 10+ clients. Referral Partner: you send clients our way, they pay us directly, and you earn 20% commission (minimum $10/month per client) for each referred client's first 12 months. No minimums, no management needed.
Can I mark up the price to my clients?
Absolutely. With an Agency Account, you buy licenses at wholesale (as low as $25/license) and charge your clients whatever makes sense — $50, $75, $100/month. The margin is entirely yours. Many partners add SpamKill as a line item in their monthly retainer.
How long does setup take per client?
About 5 minutes per site. Paste the code snippet or install the WordPress plugin, and you're done. SpamKill works immediately — no configuration required. Most agencies add it as a standard step in their site launch checklist.
What if a client wants to manage their own account?
No problem. You can either keep managing their license under your Agency Account, or transition them to their own direct SpamKill account. If they go direct and you were the referring agency, you can switch to earning referral commission instead. We make sure you're never penalized for growing a client.
How are referral commissions paid?
You earn 20% of what each referred client pays — a minimum of $10/month ($100/year on annual plans) — for their first 12 months. Payouts go out via PayPal, Wise, or bank transfer once your balance passes $100, with an annual December sweep of any remaining balance. Refunds are netted from future payouts.
